Welcome to Kindly Light Cottage, a newly renovated traditional stone building located on a quiet residential street in the heart of Amble! Here we welcome guests with one well behaved dog and equally well behaved children of all ages. One travel cot is available, as well as a high chair for the dining room

This beautifully renovated cottage retains the character of its origins in the 1900's, when Kindly Light Cottage was built as a residential home. Decorated throughout with a modern nautical theme reflecting the roots of the family, as well as the town, this wonderful cottage boasts 2 spacious double bedrooms and one twin bedded room, fully renovated kitchen equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and air frier. Separate Dining room, and access to the spacious sun trap yard equipped with charcoal grill and seating area for evenings sunning yourself after a day out exploring the town and local area!

Local amenities include several pubs and restaurants within walking distance for those days when you don't fancy cooking, as well as local shops, butchers, grocers and bakers on the nearby Queen Street. Fish and chips are always available and delicious from the seaside, alongside quality weekend markets, fishmongers and a collection of pop-up pod shops leading down to the harbor walls.

Located 31 miles north of Newcastle, Amble is a quiet seaside town, known for shipbuilding with a rich history of fishing, friendly locals, fascinating wildlife and natural wild environment. Amble also holds the title 'Kindliest Port' or ‘Friendliest Port’. The earliest mentions of Amble date all the way back to 1090, and relics of its ancient history can still be found dotted about the town.
