The Martlet Inn offers spacious and well appointed letting rooms which have been recently renovated to a high standard. The Martlet is situated in the peaceful village of Langford Budville, easily accessible from the M5 motorway just 5 miles away. The local area offers beautiful walks and bike rides through the stunning Blackdown Hills with the Quantocks also being just on our doorstep. The Langford Heathfield Wildlife Trust is right on our doorstep offering a boardwalk through incredible bluebell woods. Both the North and South coasts are easily visited from here as are the cities of Bristol and Exeter.
At The Martlet we specialise in sea-food and game alongside comforting pub fayre sourced from local suppliers. Well kept cask ale and a thoughtful wine list complement the delicious food we serve. With a pretty cottage garden outside, a light and airy dining area as well as a roaring log burner in the bar you can pick a comfy spot to watch the comings and goings of our village pub!
Our unique letting rooms comprise of two suites with ample space within making them ideal for longer stays as well as weekend get-aways, and a charming double en-suite room over looking our pretty garden. All of our rooms have been recently renovated and decorated using bespoke furnishings to make them all truly unique - they are stylish and comfortable.
We serve breakfast every morning using our local suppliers to offer the best our lovely county has to offer - even our coffee is roasted just down the road!
