Colwick Hall Hotel is a Palladian style Georgian country house mansion nestling in over sixty acres of parkland. A historic building dating back to Saxon times and once the ancestral home of Lord Byron.
There are sixteen very individual ensuite rooms varying from Executive to the Signature room named after the romantic poet Lord Byron.
The Hotel reception is the original entrance hall and still today displays the diamond cut slate flooring with circular black marble sections.
Inherited by Byron's ancestor Sir Richard Byron in 1362. The Byrons inhabited Colwick for more than 150 years before they moved to Newstead Abbey.
Breakfast is served between 7am and 9.30am Monday -Friday and 7.30-10am on Saturday's & Sunday's.
The Byron's Brasserie is situated in the dining room. Guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the bar and lounge area before sitting down for dinner.
The Byron's Brasserie is open from 12.00pm - 3.00pm, 12pm-5pm for Afternoon Teas for lunch and 6.00pm - 10.00pm for dinner.
The Hotel is situated in over sixty acres of Colwick Country Park with a network of bridle paths leading around the lake, through the woodland and by the marina.
