Palazzo del Baglivo Wellness, Mercato Cilento

The Palace features a wellness center called 'The Quintessence'. Located inside the Palace, it was originally the base of the tower that dominates the entire structure, which dates back to the eleventh century. The center is divided into 'Fire Path ', which takes place inside and that includes sauna, emotional shower, hydromassage, relaxation room and indoor massage rooms, and 'Water Path' which takes place outdoor and offers pool with neck hydromassage, solarium and shower.

 

The Palace is also the ideal location for the organization of meetings, parties, shows, ceremonies and any other event or celebration.

In a memory of 1761 it is written that Giovan Vincenzo del Baglivo, Baron of Casigliano, in the first half of  '600 built a "magnificent palace with a courtyard and a spacious tank in a place called the Lamia".

Following a long and painstaking restoration work, the Baron's Palace has been restored to its former glory, while retaining the original structure and features, such as the use of local stone, the ceilings in chestnut, the large courtyard and  the old mill.

Today the Palace of the Baron del Baglivo has seven suites, a spa suite, an outdoor bar with pool and solarium and a wellness center where guests can spend short or long periods embraced by the quiet of the valleys and pampered by our holistic practitioners.

Guests can enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool and overlooking the surrounding green hills, the only sound being the silence and the chirping of birds.

If guests would like to have lunch / dinner tasting typical and genuine products, a driver will accompany them at the restaurant, featuring a wide selection of typical Mediterranean diet, all prepared with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

The poolside bar, built of local stone, offers its guests fresh cocktails, drinks and fruit juices to sip surrounded by the peacefulness of the surrounding hills.
