Café - The on-site café, Hoochie Mammas, is open 7 days a week (closed from 23rd December until 2nd January) for breakfast and lunch, offering:

• Gourmet coffee
• Home-made muffins and a wide variety of cakes and pastries
• Freshly squeezed juices
• All day hot breakfast
• A variety of hot and cold food for lunch including burgers, pasta, salads and sandwiches

Catering - Catering can be organised for conferences, events and group bookings. Please contact theUniversity directly for more information

Self-catering facilities - All five-bedroom apartments have kitchens that include a stove top, convection oven, fridge, kettle, toaster and basic crockery.

Communal kitchen - The kitchen is located in the communal lounge area and is especially useful for studio apartment guests who don't have kitchen facilities in their apartments. The kitchen includes a gas cooktop, oven, microwave and basic cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery.

Restaurants/bars / cafes - Newtown is a vibrant suburb known for its myriad of restaurants, bars and cafes. On any night of the week, one can eat at a variety of restaurants including Thai, Italian, Indian, Nepalese, Greek and Turkish.

The Village features a leafy courtyard perfect for enjoying the sun in the day, or relaxing under the stars at night.

The accommodation is set around a Village green and a number of landscaped courtyards.

Business Centre - Computers and Internet access are available 24 hours a day in the business centre, located on level 2 of the Bligh Building. 

Internet - Broadband Internet can be accessed from most of the Village rooms or from the on-site business centre. Village staff can assist with all Internet requirements.

Meeting Rooms - The Stage Conferencing Centre offers a number of intimate meeting rooms and an Executive Boardroom. The Carillon Room accommodates up to 180 guests banquet style and meeting rooms seat 30 guests theatre style or 20 classroom style. The Carillon Gallery pre-function area is ideal for morning and afternoon tea or a networking lunch.

Recreation lounge - The recreation lounge features a pool table, ping pong table and flat screen plasma TV with Foxtel. The lounge is accessible 24 hours a day with an electronic swipe card.

Parking - Parking is available on-site, subject to availability. It is $15 per day, please ask reception for further details upon arrival. There is also a Secure Parking station located across the road under the RPAH Medical Centre. It is open from Monday to Friday and tickets can be purchased at the village reception for $22 per day. Parking on the streets surrounding the village is metred and time-limited.  

Laundry - The on-site laundry can be accessed day and night and entry is available via security access.
