Maes Y Neuadd, "The Field of the Hall", has been undergoing extensive renovations since 2022, features a variety of historical rooms which have been lovingly restored, including rooms from the 14th, 16th and 18th Century; featuring original beams, high ceilings and restored Georgian panelling. Sleeping up to 50 people, each room is unique and has its own quirks throughout.
The 14th Century Grade 2 listed Welsh Manor House is now an exclusive venue and luxury Hotel nestled within the Snowdonia National Park, a short drive from Harlech. With views of the Snowdon Peak to the right and the Welsh coast line to the left, it really is the tranquil place you need to relax and enjoy Eryri Nation Park.
Lounge within the grand Sitting Room surrounded by original Georgian panelling with wood burning stoves at either end or in the evening gather in the moody Old Bar – the oldest part of the property, dating back to the 14th Century featuring old beams and the iconic inglenook fireplace. Cosy up in here to simply sit by the fire, play games or get competitive around the pool table.
Stroll along the 1 mile walk within the 8 acre grounds, see if you can find the small lake within the woodland that filters into the Victorian pool or be a ‘big kid’ on the tyre swing. Hot Tub rental available, please enquire with us.
Being situated within the Eryri National Park, Maes Y Neuadd is the perfect base for visiting all the local attractions of North Wales.
