Located on the promenade of popular Bournemouth West Beach. A flat 8-minute stroll to the east is the Pier with public toilets (6 mins), amusements, crazy golf, arcade, tourist information, food outlets, bars and restaurants. From the pier, there is a short walk through the beautiful lower gardens to the town centre. A flat 5-minute walk to the west there is the beach office, toilets, Harvester and Chineside café and parking at Durley Chine.
The hut is 70 metres to a water tap, shower, recycling bin, ice cream kiosk and Westcliff zig-zag. The kitchen area includes a gas double stove, water cannisters, kettle and pans. In addition to cutlery and crockery, all kitchen utensils, mugs, wine glasses, tumblers and plastic cups for children are provided alongside a coffee pot, tea bags, sugar and instant coffee.
There are two recliner sunloungers, two camping chairs, two folding stools, a picnic rug, windbreak+mallet and a table. In the bench seat box are also some beach games; a frisbee, bat & ball, bucket & spade, boules and one bodyboard. BBQs are permitted on the beach after 6pm (not supplied). Plenty of cleaning products are supplied; washing up bowls, detergent, cloths, draining rack, broom, dustpan etc and a large council bin is not far along the prom.
Dogs are allowed on the beach from October - April only. There is a ceiling lantern for use in the evenings (but no overnight stays by order of the council).
One week rentals Friday - Friday.
