Mere is on the Wiltshire Cycleway, maps of the route can be picked up from the local Tourist information Centres. Wiltshire boasts great on or off road cycling.
The Monarch's Way is nearby, also local walks on Mere Down and around Stourhead the World-famous 18th-century landscape garden and Palladian mansion are nearby.
