Our home has been lovingly and tastefully renovated which we enjoy sharing with our guests. We combined the retention of original features, including oak lintels, doors, panelling, oak beams and fireplaces, with modern facilities.

The Bay Horse and the village of Ravenglass was once the haunt of smugglers and rumours say that there is an underground tunnel connecting our home to the Ship Inn (another former Inn across the road). This would have been used by the smugglers to move contraband from Inn to Inn so hiding from the customs men.
We have a guest lounge with use of maps, local information, books and a TV with DVD.
We offer secure storage for cycles, packed lunches on requests and drying facilities.
We are ideal for tourists, business and regular visitors to the area.
