Daytime staff are lovely and helpful. I spent the past year living there as a student, and then stayed over summer. I'll miss Clayhill. Basic, as expected, but surprised by a cracked toilet seat (ouchie!) and the most uncomfortable wire mattress I’ve ever encountered! That said, everywhere is spotlessly clean and I would stay again. John Adams Hall, Bloomsbury, London

The porters were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice, the college was peaceful and the staff serving breakfast were extremely professional and friendly. Wadham College, Oxford
