The pub has it's own Fringe Festival to complement the Fairport Cropredy Convention in August with three days of great music in the garden and the bar with up to 3000 people attending at any one time.
The local village website has a fabulous history with extensive photographs which demonstrate the beauty, history and charm of this lovely village, the site of both ancient and modern events - the 'Battle of Cropredy Bridge 1644' and of course, the home of Fairport's Cropredy Convention.
The ancient village of Cropredy with its thatched cottages and 13th Century Church is surrounded by farms, open fields and the Cherwell river which offers a variety of walking opportunities. The Oxford Canal runs through the village providing picturest moorings within close walking distance to the pub.
