BLENDING HISTORY WITH ARTISTIC LUXURY
Browns Cottage has been lovingly restored back to its original 17th century character, complete with oak doors, inglenook fireplace, internal stone walls and exposed beams. The decor is imbued with an artist's eye in the subtlest of warm, neutral shades, complimenting gorgeous stone with layer upon layer of textures from pale linen, tweeds and natural wood throughout.
When you walk in through the front door, you will encounter a stunning, opened up cottage full of light and warmth, fitted with all the modern amenities you could possibly want to give you the best of both worlds.
Browns Cottage is in the lively, pretty market town of Charlbury, which is nestled in the Evenlode Valley, designated a national area of natural, outstanding beauty.
Although just over an hour away from London by train and bordering both Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, this part is considered to be the 'undiscovered Cotswolds' where you will find a world of tranquillity together with a treasure load of things to see and do.
A feature of Browns Cottage is how spacious and airy it is. The two double bedrooms are large and the ensuite bathroom is too. The single room is 'small but perfectly formed' . It is a lovely room and a full size single bed but you may find it more suitable for a young person although 'full sized humans' have stayed there and loved it too.
