Castle Farmhouse B & B, Kirby Muxloe

A friendly small arable farm which is next to the 15th Century Kirby Muxloe Castle. There are two lovely big comfortable ensuite rooms. This place is easy to get to and has a lot of parking. There's also a heated swimming pool in the garden for guests use. You can simply make a reservation online. NO COOKED BREAKFASTS/ACCESS TO THE KITCHEN IS ALLOWED AT THE MOMENT. CEREALS AND FRUIT ARE AVAILABLE IN THE ROOMS. WE TAKE YOUR AND OUR SAFETY VERY SERIOUSLY SO, AS WELL AS GETTING HAND SANTISER, YOUR TEMPERATURE WILL BE CHECKED ON ARRIVAL AND WE REGRET THE NEED TO TURN YOU AWAY IF ABOVE 37.5.

Castle Farmhouse is an ideal place to stop if passing Leicester (About a mile from M1 (J21a), or as a base to see many places of historical interest or even if you are working in the area. There's a large carpark right by the house.

There's a large garden with heated outdoor pool (May to Sept). Pub next door. Restaurants in the village. Two rooms for B & B which can sleep a total of 7 people.

Each bedroom has TV, Wi-Fi and Tea and Coffee making facilities, small fridge with fresh milk and complementary fruit juices. Huge range of teas, herbal and decaffienated. Also hanging space and drawers. Full set of towels, soap/body wash, shampoo and conditioner are all provided free of charge. Each bedroom has a small safe and hairdryer. A high chair, travel cot and potty loo are available for young children.

Lynn and David have a huge Old English Mastiff (Jedi Knight) and a Jack Russell terrier (George).

So it helps if you are a dog lover!

There are quite a few horses on the farm, plus some goats and hens for house eggs. For those of you who play, there is the Kirby Muxloe golf club and Rothley quite close by.
