The fine dining restaurant was awarded a once in a lifetime Visit England Rose 2018 award in recognition of outstanding customer service. Also winning "Oxfordshires Restaurant of the Year 2016" with an AA Rosette and voted Silver in "Best Tourism Pub of the Year 2017". Head chef Faye Morris shares the owners’ passion for creative and seasonally changing menus. Fresh, ethically and locally sourced produce lie at the heart of its modern but classically based dishes which offer a memorable dining experience.
The Baskerville garden renovation was completed in March 2022 and offers al-fresco dining throughout the summer months with plenty of beautiful, well appointed seating.
The bar with its cosy log fires has an impressive wine list with over 70 bins, offers 4 local cask ales and 50 malt whiskies from around the world.
The small town of Henley-on-Thames, located only 2 miles away, is home to the Henley Royal Regatta and the Henley Festival. Enjoy a boat trip up the Thames or visit the River and Rowing Museum. Try a night at the Kenton theatre, the fourth oldest in England. Within the village why not stroll along to Shiplake lock and watch the river cruisers pass through.
