The Wheatsheaf, Bessingham

We offer 5 luxury B&B king en-suite bedrooms, all situated on the first floor of The Wheatsheaf. All rooms have complimentary tea/coffee making facilities.
The Wheatsheaf also has a family suite called Dragonfly, comprising a king bedroom, a twin bedroom and bathroom, situated on the ground floor of the barn adjacent to the pub.

- AQUA and NERO are contemporary en-suite rooms with king size beds, desks and 37" wall mounted TVs. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THESE ROOMS.

- SIENNA is our standard dog-friendly room with king-size bed, a 32" wall mounted TV, a small en-suite and shower cubicle.

- MARINE is a spacious bedroom consisting of a king size bed, a 40" wall mounted TV, a desk and a seating area with tub chairs and a side table with tea/coffee making facilities, an original Victorian feature fireplace and en-suite bathroom. Marine is dog friendly.

- CRIMSON is a spacious bedroom consisting of a king size bed, a 40" wall mounted TV, an original Victorian feature fireplace and en-suite bathroom. There is a small seating area to enjoy a beverage. Crimson is dog friendly.

- DRAGONFLY is a spacious family suite consisting of a king size bed in the main room. It has a 43" multi-positional wall mounted TV, a dressing table with tea/coffee making facilities, two-seater sofa, coffee table and occasional chairs. The second bedroom has two single beds with bedside units, a large decorative hanging rail with luggage space. The bathroom comprises a WC, large basin and rainfall shower. there is a private courtyard with bistro set.

When you book a B&B room, you will be served breakfast in the restaurant, which comprises a selection of cereals, fruit juice, yoghurts and preserves plus a menu offering cooked delights such as full English, Eggs Benedict, and omelettes. However, we will cater for your personal choice from our well-stocked kitchen. Breakfast is served from 08:30 - 09:30. Earlier (from 07:30 by prior arrangement).
