The Winnock Hotel dates back to the 18th century and throughout history has always offered lodging to travellers passing through by Loch Lomond and the Trossachs areas.

Directions:

By car - from the south and the M74, follow the M8 through Glasgow to Exit 16, then follow the signs for Aberfoyle (A811). Drymen is just off the A811.

By bus - services run regularly from Drymen to Loch Lomond, Glasgow and Stirling. The bus stop is located just outside of the hotel on the opposite side of the village green.

By train - the closest train station is in the village of Balloch, just 8 miles away. This station is accessible from Glasgow Central Station. There are taxis available outside of the station to take you on to the Winnock Hotel.

By air - Glasgow Airport is just 16 miles away from the hotel. For travel to the hotel, contact Charles Gardiner on 07709 848698 or email [email protected] to arrange an Airport transfer. The cost for a transfer from Glasgow Airport to the hotel is approx. £25. www.lochlomondtravel.com)

Other easily accessible airports are Edinburgh International Airport which is approximately a 1 hour drive from the hotel and Prestwick International Airport which is approximately 1.5 hours drive away.
