The Avenue, Shanklin

The Avenue was built in the late 1800s and has been completely refurbished to provide high standards of accommodation, cleanliness and comfort. From the moment you arrive we want you to be able to unwind and relax.

The two phrases guests are most likely to hear from Simon and Jonathan are:
“MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME” and “THERE’S NO RUSH"

The eight en-suite bedrooms are individually decorated and offer guests a choice of double, king, super-king or twin bed.

Every room provides:
Complimentary beverage tray, USB port, Flat screen TV with FreeView, hair dryer, heated towel rails, shaver sockets, shower gel and full size bath sheets.
Free WIFI is available throughout.

Relax in our comfortable TV lounge, Conservatory and private garden.
Enjoy a drink from our licensed bar before you go out for dinner, or a nightcap before bedtime.

Don’t feel like eating out? We are happy for you to bring in takeaway food to eat in the lounge, bar, conservatory or garden (but not in bedrooms please!)

Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9.30. Choose any combination you like from our breakfast menu to set you up for the day ahead. Many of our breakfast items are cooked to order so while you are waiting help yourself to a wide selection of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad and fruit juices.
Vegetarian sausages, gluten free bread, Soy and almond milk, decaffeinated tea and coffee are all available on request.
We are happy to cook an early breakfast for you if you want to make an early start – just let us know the night before.

The Avenue does not accommodate children under twelve years of age and the maximum number of guests per room is two.

Registered assistance dogs are welcome, owners will be asked to provide proof of registration at check in.

We are unable to reserve parking spaces for guests. Free parking is also available in the local area.

Check-in is between 3.00 p.m and 7.00 p.m. Check-out is by 10.30 a.m.
