ChocoLets - The Henry Isaac suite, York

"Perfectly situated in a central location, You’ll love the original features found in this unique building, as well as its modern and comfortable decor. You’ll receive all the luxuries of a hotel suite with the flexibility of having your own kitchen and living space.


The master bedroom is spacious and well-lit, featuring a large window framed by the original brickwork of the building, offering picturesque views of the River Foss. The room boasts a king-sized (5ft) bed, adorned with high-quality, crisp white linens, and a wall-mounted LCD TV.

Moving down the hallway, you'll find the modern, fully-equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils, including coffee and tea-making facilities, a fridge, and an oven. You'll even find a washing machine for your convenience.

The 'Jack and Jill' bathroom is elegantly appointed with a shower over a bath and is stocked with soft, fluffy towels. It offers convenient access both from the master bedroom and via a second door from the hallway, making it perfect for a third or fourth person staying on the sofa bed.

In the living area, you'll be treated to more scenic views of the river, a striking oak dining table that accommodates four guests, a generous L-shaped sofa that can be converted into a sofa bed upon request for groups of 3-4, and a smart TV.

These apartments, known as 'ChocoLets,' are all located within the historic former Rowntree's, now Nestle, chocolate warehouse. Each apartment bears a name in tribute to its rich historical heritage. The 'Henry Isaac Suite' is dedicated to Henry Isaac Rowntree, the visionary founder of Rowntrees, one of the UK's most prominent confectionery businesses."
