May Cottage is located along the beautiful North Norfolk coastline in the village of Bacton. The house has been extended over the years and is now a substantial quality home and business both owned and run by your hosts, Carol and Jeff.
This lovely bright and welcoming home is close to the vibrant market towns of North Walsham and Stalham. We are ideally situated in the village being just a short stroll away from a stunning sandy beach, with the added bonus of being able to hear the sounds of the sea from the back garden when the wind is blowing in our direction!
For those who wish to experience the famous Norfolk Broads, it’s just 10 minutes away. There are a number of places nearby where you can hire a boat by the hour, half day or full day, e.g. Wroxham, Stalham, Potter Heigham and Horning.

Sheringham - 30 mins
Holt - 40 mins
Norwich - 45 mins
