Our house, Peacock Roost, is nestled in the centre of the thriving village of Tideswell. There are numerous cafes and pubs; the "Cathedral of the Peaks" is less than 300 yards from the house. We have many beautiful walks and cycle rides nearby without even getting in a car: Monsal Head, Tideswell Dale, the Wye Valley, Tansley Dale, Cressbrook Dale and St Peter's Stone. A twenty minute drive takes you to Buxton, Bakewell, Castleton and Lady Bower reservoir. Chatsworth ,Haddon and Hassop Halls
We have a large comfy town house which was previously a pub called The Peacock and is situated in the heart of the village with easy access to pubs, shops and restaurants.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed with en suite.
Bedroom 2 has a kingsize bed and a large luxurious bathroom with slipper bath and large shower is directly across the corridor and is for your exclusive use.
Contained within each room is a flat screen TV, radio and internet access. There are tea and coffee making facilities in both rooms; a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries and luxurious towels are included.

Guests have access to our sitting room, dining room and garden.. We offer an off road parking space and lock up for cycles.

Once arriving in Tideswell, the key to finding us is to locate the Corner Chippy (Chip Shop) which is opposite the cash machine in Queen Street, turn into Parke Road and then turn immediately left into our yard as soon as you see a large white house with double garage. Please park in front of the single garage door close to the house. The house is called Peacock Roost and doesn't have a door number but the postcode is SK17 8NS.
