The Fishing Lodge was built in 1991 on the site of the old lodge beside the river. The accommodation, for a maximum of eight people, to be let to tenants comprises: Ground Floor: Large open plan sitting/dining room; kitchen (with Aga); utility room (equipped with washing machine and tumble drier); cloakroom with WC. First Floor: 4 twin-bedded rooms; 4 bathrooms. There is also a garage used primarily for the storage of rods and waders. The Lodge is extremely comfortable, and convenient for the river. Electricity is included in the rent, as is approximately 1 hour per day of the housekeeper’s time. Linen is provided and there is a TV (including Sky Freesat) and also a WiFi connection. A metered landline telephone is available to tenants as mobile reception is not always available in the Lodge.
