Visão geral

O Egrove Park está situado em um belo cenário e fica a apenas 3 km (10 minutos de carro) do centro da cidade. Construído em 1969, mantém algumas características peculiares que lembram a arquitetura dos anos 1960. Sua proximidade com a A34, o anel viário de Oxford e a M40 permite fácil acesso a pontos turísticos próximos, como o Palácio de Blenheim. Para viajantes a negócios, os parques científicos e empresariais de Oxford ficam a poucos minutos de distância.

O Egrove Park é um centro residencial especialmente construído para Programas Executivos e de Liderança na Saïd Business School, portanto todos os quartos são de alta especificação; estilo executivo e com banheiro privativo.

Os quartos são uma mistura de quartos individuais e duplos com banheiro privativo. Por favor, verifique sua seleção no momento da reserva. Os quartos também contam com comodidades para fazer chá e café, geladeira, TV, cofre, secador de cabelo, produtos de higiene pessoal e uma ampla escrivaninha. Não há quartos com duas camas de solteiro disponíveis e a ocupação dupla é baseada em uma cama de casal.

Os quartos ficam no anexo e, infelizmente, não há acesso a outras instalações maiores, como bar, cafeteria, restaurante, academia, lounge, salas de reunião ou business center. Todos os quartos estão sujeitos à disponibilidade.

Observe que o anexo fica a poucos minutos a pé do prédio principal, em um belo cenário arborizado. Há uma escadaria que leva à recepção principal para o check-in, portanto, você pode deixar sua bagagem no carro ou no pé da escada durante o check-in para evitar carregar sua bagagem desnecessariamente.

Alimentos e bebidas

A hot buffet breakfast is provided in the dining room located in the main building. Breakfast is available from 7:45am- 8:30am. There is a wide selection of both hot and cold options to choose from.

Please note, at peak times you may have to share a breakfast table with other B&B guests.

As Egrove Park is part of Oxford University, the licensing restrictions mean that the property cannot sell alcohol to the general public and therefore cannot offer bar facilities on-site to B&B guests. The property also cannot offer dining facilities.

The nearest cafes, restaurants and bars are in the city centre which is approximately 2 miles away.

Bedrooms have complimentary Wi-Fi network (The Cloud). Information can be found on your 'Welcome' letter issued by the reception staff upon check in.

The check in time of 2.30pm is the earliest you can arrive. Unfortunately there is no waiting area if you arrive early and have to wait for the room to be prepared.

Rooms are serviced between 10.00am and 1pm and there is no service outside these times.

Another fantastic one-night stay at what has to be the best Bed and Breakfast establishment in Oxford! From the warm welcome at the reception desk when I arrived, right through to checking out the next morning, the experience could not be faulted in any way. I just wish that I had found Egrove Park many years earlier than I did, which would have saved me from staying at a truly dire guest house near the Coach Station! I look forward to my next visit to Egrove Park in late November!

A great place to stay! It was a cold day and night but we were warm in our room and and bathroom and the bed was comfortable with a suitable/winter weight duvet. Some may find the short walk from the bedroom in the annex to the dining room for breakfast less than ideal but we knew about it when we booked so no worries! Thank you, we'll be back!

Egrove is sat in very attractive leafy grounds. We saw deer and rabbits,! The room was basic and comfortable ideal for an overnight stay at a great price. A short drive into the centre of Oxford. The staff were very helpful. Only downside was you could hear the traffic, but not a problem.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast in the refectory was excellent - a good choice of fresh fruit, and cooked items. The campus itself is convenient for public transport to the centre of Oxford and other destinations.

Unfortunately, late check out cannot be offered. Please be advised that unauthorised late check-out will result in a penalty charge of £200.

Entry to the car park is controlled by traffic lights. After parking proceed up the steps to reception to check-in. If the door is locked please ring the bell for attention. Your bedroom will be in an annexe building which is a short walk across the car park. 

Directions:

For Sat Nav purposes please use OX1 5NZ (complimentary parking is available on-site). 

There is free parking on site. Alternatively, guests can leave their car at Egrove Park and take the No. 35 bus to the city centre. Buses run every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes in the evening. The bus stop is at the bottom of the drive.

Please note that there is no parking provision for coaches at Egrove Park - arrangements should be made to park coaches at the nearby coach park, operated by Oxford city council. 

By Car: From London follow the signs for M40 West/Oxford, exit at junction 8, through to the A40 until the Headington roundabout. Take the Ring Road South (signposted Newbury A34). Egrove Park is signposted from the Ring Road.

From the North or South take the Hinksey Hill Interchange exit from the A34 and follow the signs for Egrove Park.

When using satellite navigation please enter Kennington Road as well as the postcode of OX1 5NZ.

By Train: Oxford railway station and coach station are 10-15 minutes away by taxi.  The fare is approximately £8.  

By Air:  London Heathrow airport is 50 miles from Oxford. There is a regular coach service to Oxford city centre. For further details, please visit oxford bus website. There is a fast rail link to London Paddington which connects directly with services to Oxford. Journey time is about 1.5 hours.
