O International Hall oferece acomodações durante os meses de verão, oferecendo acomodações acessíveis e confortáveis para visitantes no coração de Londres.

Localizado na área de Bloomsbury, o International Hall fica a uma curta distância a pé da Biblioteca Britânica, do Museu Britânico e da Senate House, além de ter uma localização muito central, com a maioria das principais atrações, pontos turísticos e o Rio Tâmisa a uma curta distância a pé ou de ônibus ou metrô.

O International Hall oferece acomodações em estúdios individuais e duplos padrão para visitantes, com café da manhã incluído. O café da manhã consiste em um máximo de 6 itens por pessoa, com a opção de uma fruta adicional. Os banheiros são compartilhados nos quartos individuais e os estúdios têm banheiro privativo.

Há também uma sala comum no salão.

História

The first Wing (now known as the North Wing) was opened in 1963 by the Indian High Commissioner. The second part of the hall (now known as the West Wing) was opened in 1968 by the then Chancellor of the University of London, HM Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.
The hall underwent a major refurbishment in 2002/03 with the construction of a new Central Wing and the construction of a new entrance on Lansdowne Terrace and refurbishment of all facilities and rooms. The newly refurbished hall was reopened in December 2003 by the Chancellor of the University of London, HRH the Princess Royal, Princess Anne.

Alimentos e bebidas

Breakfast is included in the room rate and consists of a variety of options, including the traditional full English, 7 days per week, International Hall offer a vegetarian option but can not cater for special dietary requirements. There is a limit of 6 items per person, with the option of an additional piece of fruit.

Breakfast times are:  08.00 -09.30

Drinks vending machines are available.

There is a small open-air shopping mall at the end of the street with fashion shops, a supermarket, several restaurants, coffee shops and a fabulous patisserie.

Bloomsbury is packed full of trendy bars, restaurants and cafes. Due to the area`s diversity and culture, you can experience tastes from all around the globe.

Brunswick Square public park is just opposite International Hall and Russell Square public park is just 1 minutes walk at the end of the street.

Perfectly adequate for my needs. This building is safe, quiet, and centrally located, and it was perfectly suited for my no-frills needs. I am 40+ years old and didn’t feel out of place. The breakfast provided was adequate but definitely institutional food and I’d give the coffee a miss. :)

Everything was great. It was hot, we got a fan, if we needed room amenities, they were easy to get, nothing beats the location and convenience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Nice quiet accommodation, and I appreciated the close proximity of supermarkets and the tube. The breakfasts were good and the choice of indoor and outdoor seating was a plus.

It would be useful to know that there’s no soap or kettle or mugs provided. I think it’s fantastic value and would stay again but it would have been better with a heads up.

Room was what you would expect from a student room. Decent bed and shower. One downside was that the room and hallways are very warm and stuffy in summer.

On arrival, you will need to check-in at the reception desk in the hall, which is manned 24hrs a day.

Directions: From Russell Square, turn right when coming out of the station, go straight ahead and cross the street. The hall is on the corner on the right-hand side and the entrance is on the other side of the building on Lansdowne Terrace.

By Car: If you are driving please be aware that the hall does not offer parking facilities and it might be difficult to find a space on the street. The nearest NCP car parks are on Woburn Place and on Bloomsbury Place.

Please note that central London operates a Congestion Charge zone between the hours of 7:00-18:00 Monday-Friday and 12:00-18:00 Sat-Sun and bank holidays. The Congestion Charge is an £18 daily charge (if paid on the day or in advance) or £21 (if paid by midnight of the third day after travel). By Train: Euston Station, King’s Cross, and St Pancras national rail / mainline stations are all within 5 minutes’ walk. St Pancras is also the main Eurostar terminal for international connections to Paris and Brussels. A taxi could cost between £5- £10 from these stations to the residence.

By Air: Trains from Gatwick Airport and Luton Airport run to King`s Cross Station from the airport and the Piccadilly line on the underground connects all Heathrow Airport terminals with King`s Cross Station as well, making in very simple to travel to the hall.

By Tube: The closest tube stations are Russell Square, Goodge Street, Euston Square, Euston Station and King`s Cross St Pancras.

By Bus: There are numerous buses available in the area as well, including night buses. The closest stops are on Russell Square (59, 68, 91, 7, 168, 188), Euston Road (73, 63, 205, 30) and Gower Street (29, 390, 10, 14, 24, 134).
