A Pensão "Am Checkpoint" é uma acomodação confortável no coração de Berlim, perto da famosa Friedrichstrasse e do Checkpoint Charlie.

Os lofts de 1 e 2 quartos foram modernizados em 2012 e estão localizados a aproximadamente 30 metros da famosa "Friedrichstrasse". Com sua variedade de cafés, restaurantes e boutiques, esta é uma rua de compras verdadeiramente excepcional e uma das mais desejadas em Berlim e até mesmo na Alemanha.

Graças à localização central, no coração da Berlim histórica, todos os principais pontos turísticos podem ser facilmente alcançados a pé. Você chegará em apenas 15 minutos à magnífica alameda Unter den Linden, à Praça Potsdamer, ao Portão de Brandemburgo ou ao Reichstag. O Museu do Checkpoint Charlie e o Gendarmenmarkt ficam bem ao lado.

Nas proximidades, você encontrará uma excelente rede de transporte público. Utilizando as linhas de metrô U6 e U2, a partir da estação "Stadtmitte", além de diversas linhas de ônibus e trens suburbanos, você poderá chegar a qualquer parte de Berlim em pouco tempo.

Os apartamentos exigem uma estadia mínima de 2 noites.

Desde 1º de janeiro de 2014, os hóspedes devem pagar a chamada taxa municipal na chegada. Essa taxa é cobrada pela cidade de Berlim no valor de 5% sobre a diária. A taxa não está incluída no preço da diária e deve ser paga em dinheiro no hotel.

A variety of international restaurants, coffee houses and bars are available nearby.

Parking vignette and WLAN Internet access are available free of charge. Public parking is available in front of the house (reservation not possible).

Children up to the age of 5 are free of charge in one of the existing beds. Cot beds are available on request and need to be confirmed. Please contact the accommodation before your arrival; you will find the contact details on your booking confirmation.

There is a limit of 1 child under the age of 5 per adult (over the age of 18) sharing a room.

Dogs are allowed upon request, but need to be confirmed by the accommodation provider.

Special requests, like 2nd cushion, additional duvets, iron and ironing board are available, just ask at your arrival.

There is a mandatory, additional payment for tail-end cleaning, which needs to be paid at your check-in; the cleaning costs for the apartments 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are €10 and for the apartments 1 & 2 €15.

The apartments are located in 10117 Berlin, Krausenstrasse 67-69, in a side road, just off Friedrichstrasse in the district "Berlin-Mitte".

The reception is only temporarily manned, but you will be personally greeted and checked-in at the arranged time. Check-in is possible from 1pm onwards or as agreed before your arrival. You will check-out yourself, as shown at your arrival. Check-out time is 11am.

Please inform the accommodation about your planned time of arrival, the latest 1-2 days before arrival and let them know about any short term changes via phone or email. Please find their contact details on your booking confirmation.

Arrival: Via Aeroplane - Berlin Tegel: Take the bus TXL and exit at “Unter den Linden/Friedrichstrasse”, change to the underground U6 (station “Franzoesische Strasse”) towards “Alt-Mariendorf” and exit at “Stadtmitte”. Take the exit in driving direction, turn left into Krausenstrasse, you will find the the B&B after approximately 40 meters.

Via Aeroplane - Berlin Schoenefeld: Take the suburban train S45 towards “Suedkreuz/Bundesplatz” and exit at “Tempelhof”, change to underground U6 towards “Alt-Tegel” and exit at “Stadtmitte”. Take the exit against the driving direction, turn left into Krausenstrasse, you will find the B&B after approximately 40 meters.

Via Central Railway station: From Berlin Central Station take the suburban train S5 towards “Straussberg Nord“ or S7 towards “Ahrensfelde” or S75 towards “Wartenberg” and exit at “Friedrichstrasse”, change to underground U6 towards “Alt-Mariendorf” and exit at “Stadtmitte”. Take the exit in driving direction, turn left into Krausenstrasse, you will find the B&B after approximately 40 meters.
