Nestled at the heart of the village, the pub stands surrounded by the Greensand Ridge, the building feels as if it’s been cradled by the landscape, part of the village’s story and soul. The warm glow from the windows invites passersby to step inside, where the rustic interior hums with the chatter of locals. The sound of a crackling fire adds to the cosy atmosphere, while wooden tables and chairs, well-worn with years of use, create a sense of belonging. Outside, the view of the rolling countryside is breathtaking, and during the summer months, the beer garden fills with the laughter of families and friends, a true reflection of the community that gathers here. This is a place where the stories of the village are shared over pints of local ale, where the sense of tradition and connection is as strong as the roots of the Greensand Ridge itself.
