The Turks Head has been renovated throughout & ongoing. We offer an excellent value home cooked menu, and everything from real ales to a great selection of wines and spirits.
We are family friendly and boast possibly the best beer garden in Northumberland! Walking distance from Cragside and only a 9 miles from Alnwick castle. So whether you want to visit Harry Potter's Castle, take in the fantastic countryside, amazing beaches and castles or cycle, walk, spend a day on the golf course, landing that big catch or just relax with friends, we have something for everyone.
We serve food 12-8 daily, however this can change seasonally, we highly recommend table booking as we get fully booked for food throughout the summer. We also host live music from time to time, please check our Facebook page for events.
PET POLICY - pets are welcomed in 2 rooms only. For allergy reasons please check directly with us prior to booking.A 10 GBP per night charge is payable on arrival. Any pets brought without prior agreement will not be permitted to stay, and rooms won't be refunded if you've brought an unauthorised pet.
