Food and Drinks
A light breakfast consiting of toast, pastries, yogurt, tea/coffee and juice is included in the rate and served in the lounge area, however a full English breakfast can be purchased at extra cost and is served in The Hawthorns Restaurant. A buffet style lunch and dinner service (at an additional cost) is also available in the restaurant. Guests have access to the bar which is situated in a spacious lounge area and overlooks the grass courtyard, perfect to enjoy the summer sun.
On the University Campus there are a range of outlets offering refreshments, breakfast, lunch and dinner although we would always recommend you check at the Management Centre Reception as to which outlets are open as some only operate during term time.
A short drive will take you to Newcastle-under-Lyme where you will find an array of restaurants and bars. Alternatively, a short walk away is The Sneyd Arms, a traditional English pub with all the favourites of pub food and local ales.
Grounds and gardens
Within the Campus, you will find the magnificent 19th Century Keele Hall with its rolling lawns, seven lakes and Italian gardens. The Hall grounds are open to the public, serving refreshments, lunches and is available to host anything from small meetings to international conferences, award celebrations and family gatherings.
Guests can enjoy the grounds, a perfect place to relax and unwind, perhaps reading a book under a tree or enjoying a picnic.
Within the Campus you will find a Post Office, bank and various food shops although these may not all be open outside of university term time. All bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities, television, free Wi-Fi, telephone and hairdryer.
