The Bull on the Bridge Hotel, Sowerby Bridge

The Bull on the Bridge is a public house with modern guest rooms located in the heart of 'Happy Valley' Town, Sowerby Bridge. The building has a historic past and was previously a Hotel on the old Manchester Trade Route, dating back to the 1800s. It comprises a main bar and Function Room and also a separate cellar bar, The Sowerby Taps, both of which serve a wide variety of Cask Ales, Beers, wines and spirits. Sowerby Bridge is situated in the Pennines and is located conveniently for Hebden Bridge, Halifax and Manchester.

The Town has been recently used as a filming location for many productions including 'Happy Valley', Last Tango in Halifax and Scott and Bailey. The local area is regularly used for filming due to its stunning landscapes and distinctive features.

The Rooms have recently been fully redeveloped to modern standards and offers double accomodation furnished to a high standard. We have en-suite rooms with tea and coffee making facilities, Digital Freeview TV and wi-fi internet access available in the public areas.

The Bull on the Bridge is situated in the centre of the Town and is about 5 minutes walk from the Train Station and Bus Terminal. The M62 is only 4 miles away and is accessed via the Ripponden (For Manchester) or Elland (For Leeds).
