The apartment master bedroom has a King Size Frank Hudson bed with a wall-mounted 50" LED flat-screen TV at the foot of the bed.
In the living area, the lounge has a large sofa that can turn into a double sofa bed and a large armchair with a single sofa bed, (at an extra cost) making the Lion Suite great for families up to 5.
If you are travelling with children, we are happy to supply a travel cot and high chair.
As you enter the apartment your eye takes to straight into the impressive master bedroom with views of the river, framed by the original brick. There's a modern bathroom attached with a large shower over the bath. Then to the right is the spacious living area, again with tranquil views of the river with a comfortable corner sofa and armchair to relax and of course the kitchen area with cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, hob and of course a wine fridge!
Considered York’s best industrial building, consisting of 5 stories and a 9 story water tower. This beautiful building started out as a flour mill before being brought by Rowntree’s to mill their cocoa beans. It truly is a beautiful building, our apartment is on the ground floor (there are 3 steps at the entrance of the corridor) overlooking the river, peaceful yet central.
PARKING in York is like gold dust!
And we are really excited to now be able to provide free, secure parking with every stay!
At the entrance of the apartment is a private, multi-story, car park, there is a designated parking spot which is accessed using a fob. When you book with us we will provide you with detailed instructions.
Once you have parked your car you are so central, there is no need to use it again. You can explore all York has to offer on foot.
