The Devon & Cornwall is a 17th century inn in the village of Millbrook, Cornwall. It has a rich history and retains many traditional features including stone floors and an open fire.
The village of Millbrook has a gorgeous lake at the heart of the village which is a tidal barrier & there is a marina within walking distance. There are many shops and services and therefore is a great central point for exploring this beautiful area.
The villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are less than 2 miles away as is Whitsand Bay and Rame Head. Mount Edgcumbe house is a grade II listed building and is situated on an 885 acre country park
The breathtaking beaches of Whitsand, Tregantle, Portwrinkle and Sharrow Point all offer stunning cliffside paths and dramatic sweeping scenery over the peninsula. Why not ask the team for their favourite spots in the area.
The area is very popular for weddings especially in nearby Mount Edgcumbe Park and Polhawn Fort. We are also a 15 minute drive from HMS Raleigh, convenient for passing out parades and close to the naval base at Devonport. The city of Plymouth is 30 minutes away by car ferry, ideal for a days shopping.
Our 4 ensuite rooms have tea and coffee making facilities as well as flat screen TVs with all freeview channels.There is a hairdryer in each room and an iron and ironing board are available on request. Free Wifi is available throughout the building. We are a strictly non-smoking property.
Our bar area has a range of local real ales, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks on offer. We offer darts, pool and a range of books and puzzles in the bar area plus we have a varied event calendar with weekly live music, quiz nights and jam sessions!
