Gillman’s Cottage is a beautiful, quintessentially English cottage adjacent to The Dog & Badger Pub and Restaurant. This Grade II listed former Ale House believed to date back to 1550 has been refurbished and converted into six en suite rooms.
The six rooms all retain their original character but have stunning bathrooms, air conditioning, and complimentary Wifi. All of our beds are super-king-sized apart from Hibiscus which is king-sized.
All 6 rooms feature thoughtful touches such as coffee machines, plus complimentary wireless Internet access and TVs with digital channels. Guests will also find mini-fridge, hairdryers free toiletries and soft towels.
All rooms are en suite, some with both baths and walk-in showers.
Some of the rooms are dog-friendly.
Although we will reopen with limited capacity, we want to ensure you have a great stay and be welcomed into our beautiful cottage. From May 2021 we will deliver a breakfast hamper to your room as we reorganise our restaurant for reopening. We hope to resume serving a cooked breakfast soon.
