The Limes is licensed. Opening times of the lounge bar may vary due to staffing and demand. Drinks may also be purchased and consumed in your bedroom if required. Wine, Champagne (by the bottle) large or small bottles of prosecco and bottled beers can be pre ordered for your room. Guests can unwind in the lounge, sit outside in better weather or simply relax in the comfort and privacy of your own en-suite room.

The Limes is ideally situated for York Races, York University, McArthur Glen Designer Outlet and The City Centre where you can visit the many attractions such as, Jorvik Viking Centre, York Chocolate Story, York Castle Museum, York Minster and The National Railway Museum. Also you can watch a performance at one of our Theatres, York Theatre Royal, Grand Opera House or an event at York Barbican Centre.

The freshly cooked Award Winning breakfast uses locally sourced produce, served in the elegant dining room. We like to support other local businesses so the majority of our ingredients are locally sourced.

Each room at The Limes has an en suite shower room with heated towel rail, fluffy towels and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.
Rooms also have free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with Freeview and an iPod docking station. A welcome tray in each room includes tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, sweets raisins and a KitKat which has been made in York for years.
