Überblick

Der St. John's Campus der University of Worcester bietet saubere und komfortable Unterkünfte mit eigenem Bad zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum der Domstadt Worcester entfernt und in der Nähe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt, darunter eine Mischung aus kulturellen und historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Geschäften, Bars, Restaurants und einem pulsierenden Nachtleben.

Wählen Sie aus modernen, hellen und freundlichen Einzelzimmern, die sich 6, 7 oder 8 Zimmer pro Wohnung teilen. Jede Wohnung verfügt über eine Gemeinschaftsküche, einen Ess- oder Wohnbereich mit Fernseher. Buchbar mit Übernachtung mit Frühstück, Selbstverpflegung oder Vollpension.


Essen & Getränke

Breakfast is served between 8.00am-9.00am in the main dining hall to the left of main reception in the Edward Elgar building. If you have not pre-booked breakfast cash/card payments are accepted at the till on the day. The dining room is open from 8.00am–2.00pm serving hot and cold food or alternately the Pear Tree Café situated in the students union is open between 10.00am–8.00pm.

Special dietary requirements can be catered for, please specify in the additional information when booking allowing at least 5-7 days notice. Please note for Halal and Kosher meat, we would require at least one week’s notice prior to arrival. This is required so that we can arrange for the meat to be bought in and sealed in advance of your booking.

Grundstücke und Gärten

The campus is surrounded by a green outdoor space with seating. There is a mile long walk through the campus which provides opportunities to relax and enjoy the campus on a summer's evening.

Access to the internet is provided via an ICT guest account. This enables access to University networked PCs, the University’s wireless network and ResNet. Internet access is available and free to all guests who are over 18 years of age.

Please liaise with the Venue Hire team prior to arrival with reference to being provided with guest account access details for the duration of stay.

For arrivals to the St Johns Campus, please report to main Reception situated in the Edward Elgar building of the campus. At the reception desk you will be issued with the keys or access cards for your allocated room. Please note earliest check in time is 2.00pm. Should you anticipate arriving before 2.00pm please contact the conference team in advance of your arrival to arrange luggage storage or early check in, contact details will be outlined on your booking confirmation receipt.

On the day of departure please check-out by 10.00am. Please ensure keys and access cards are returned to the main Reception of the Campus prior to your departure. Lost or not returned keys will incur a charge of £35 per item. Should you wish to leave your luggage during the day in a secure storage facility, this can be arranged for you, providing the request is made in advance of your departure.

By Car: Pay and Display car parking is available at the St Johns Campus. Parking permits are available on request.

From A44 Worcester city centre. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A44 city centre. Keep in left-hand lane to continue forward onto the A44 Leominster. At Worcester Cathedral roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A44. Bear right onto unnamed road. Turn right onto the A44. Bear left onto the A443 (B4206). Turn left onto Henwick Road. Enter via the University's Severn Gate entrance in Henwick Road.

By Train: If arriving by train and you have the time, the walk from Worcester Foregate Street station to the St John's Campus takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Taxi from the station to the Campus will cost around £5.00 - £10.00
