Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt im LMH sehr genossen. Der Portier war sehr hilfsbereit, die Anlage ist wunderschön und das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Ein zusätzliches Bettkissen wäre wünschenswert gewesen, da die vorhandene Bettdecke zwar ausreichend, aber nicht ganz ausreichend war. Danielle (Veranstaltungsassistentin) war äußerst hilfsbereit und buchte für uns ein Zimmer im LMH für eine Konferenzveranstaltung, was ich sehr zu schätzen wusste. Insgesamt hatte ich einen ausgezeichneten Aufenthalt im LMH und würde dort auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten.

Everything that involved staff directing was difficult. So going into the dining hall the instruction was vague - picking up tray, not pick up plate, not sit on this table, do sit on that table. Too complex and the young man directing me mumbled so had not idea hat to do. Likewise the man in the Porters office had no idea how to direct me to your room. He needs to be shown how to take the map and to draw out the maps to instruct. Its a really basic but important thing.

Very quiet in Sutherland Hall, couldn't hear occupants of other rooms or any noise from the common spaces. Everything in the room was in working order and the room was spacious. Some fittings showing wear, such as the carpet. Room cleaning was appreciated. I enjoyed the lovely magnolias in bloom. Cooked breakfast was complete and varied in Deneke Hall

Brilliant benefit for alumni, and I’m happy that more don’t seem to know about it! I would think that more availability would encourage more alumni visits, which can’t be bad from a fundraising standpoint. Nice to be back and see the changes to the facilities

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer waren viel schöner als erwartet. Das Essen war durchweg köstlich und die Mitarbeiter sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank, Danielle, für die Organisation eines wirklich schönen Familienwochenendes.

The room had a weird smell that was slightly uncomfortable. Otherwise it was clean and the bed had a very comfortable mattress. I have coeliac disease and felt very safe eating at LMH. The food was delicious.

The room was simple, clean, comfortable, great value for money. The event I was attending was on site, so it was convenient too. Expect 15-20 minutes walk, for shopping and sightseeing.

Fantastic stay at my old college. Staff were incredibly helpful and the accommodation was both amazing value and well resourced. I highly recommend a stay in this beautiful setting.
