Oxfordbnb is small (the B&B is seperate from the family space), with only 4 guest rooms, offering comfortable and friendly accommodation focused on trying to meet the needs of the 'new normal'. Business persons, academics and tourists have been staying at the B&B for over 10 years. Whilst the service offered now is somewhat different, hospitality remains the same! The plan at present is for low occupancy or group/family bookings. Online availablity may not reflect the rooms available. Up to 6 guests can stay at any one time. If you wish, before you make a booking please contact the B&B (email/phone) to ensure all aspects of your booking are clear.

Safe distancing is practised, but the owners will still be sociable within the objective of reduced contact. Sanitisers, wipes and disinfectant are rigorously used. The B&B encourages the use of face masks.

Guests from abroad – sorry you cannot quarantine (14 days) at the B&B. Some countries are now exempt from this rule (check latest UK Government rules). Guests who are not exempt must be in the UK for 14 days before staying at the B&B.

If self-isolation becomes necessary, with mutual cooperation, compliance with Government guidelines should be possible. There will be cost implications if you have to extend your stay due to a need to self-isolate, however, Government guidance now allows you to take a test and return home ‘if you reasonably can’.

Oxford B&B is a family-run accommodation offering well-presented bedrooms with ensuite facilities in all rooms. Located two and a half miles from Oxford city centre and only a short distance from the River Thames which makes a pleasant walk into the centre of Oxford. It is located close to the Oxford colleges, Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds. London, Stonehenge and Shakespeare's Stratford are about one hour by car and Bicester Village, chic outlet shopping, is also nearby.

Easy access into the City centre via a bus service which stops 2 minutes away from the guest house and takes approximately 15 mins journey time to Oxford centre. Buses run every 15 minutes.  Complimentary drop off or pick up from Oxford stations can be arranged with the owners after your booking is confirmed.

The village pub offers good affordable meals, with plenty of alternative pubs and restaurants not far away and the local amenities include two village shops, post office, doctor's surgery and chemist. 

The architect-designed property was built by the owner in 2002, originally as a large family home. The Bed & Breakfast started in 2005 by hosting students learning English at Oxford language schools. With the addition of a purpose-built breakfast room and ensuite bathrooms, the property now provides accommodation for those who choose to stay in a bed and breakfast environment combining privacy with a homely atmosphere.
