All Cabins overlap the beautiful 3 acre fishing lake. You have a very large veranda to fish from or simply sit back and chill soaking up the surrounding sounds of nature. This is a quiet retreat so no loud parties/music etc.
Parking is conveniently located directly behind the lodge, so you’re never far from your accommodation when unloading luggage or returning from a day out.
Comfortable, modern and thoughtfully designed, these lodges are a lovely choice for a relaxing and easy-going getaway.
This is a peaceful chill out site. So, not all same sex 'parties'. This site is laid back, relaxed and chilled vibe only.
The fish in the lake are in pristine condition as we do not allow day ticket fishing, so no mouths ripped to shreds, etc. Only experienced Fishing people please.
Species of fish in the lake are:
All Carp, Cats, Bream, Barbell, Tench, Roach, Rudd and perch. The biggest caught was a 39lb Carp. Cats up to 78lbs. There are some big monsters in there if you want to go set up in any of the swims away from the cabins. All fish are to be returned alive and unharmed back to the lake. You can also bring a bivvy to set up anywhere around the lake. Remember to bring your fishing chairs!
Every cabin has their own designated firepit/bbq!
The best feature, apart from the cabins, for me, is the views and the Sun Set - magical!
There is a co op in Old Leake just under 1 mile away. Also located across the road in walking distance at Lakeside Fishing Retreats (PE22 9QZ) you will find the famous Pizza Shed and Bar opens from 8.30am -23.00pm which is open everyday. There are also some amazing restaurants within a 10 mile radius.
