The Castle Inn is a friendly, family-run pub with rooms located in the coastal town of Newport, within the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Renowned for its dramatic scenery, unspoilt coastline and excellent walking routes, the area is ideal for those looking to explore the outdoors or enjoy a relaxed coastal break.
Newport is overlooked by Carningli Mountain in the Preseli Hills, offering impressive views across the surrounding countryside and coastline and adding to the area’s natural charm.
Inside, the inn features a traditional bar split into two welcoming areas, complete with a real open fire and classic mahogany panelling. It’s a comfortable space to unwind with a drink or enjoy live sporting events shown on Sky Sports and TNT Sports. The bar is proud to serve a Guinness GB Pint of the Year award-winning pour, alongside Cask Marque–accredited real ales, beers, ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
Our restaurant offers a warm and relaxed atmosphere, with a cosy cwtch and log burner. We focus on good-quality, locally sourced food, freshly prepared on the premises wherever possible. The menu features pub classics alongside regularly changing kitchen specials, and has been recognised with a Good Food Award. Food is served from Wednesday breakfast through to Sunday lunch. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan diets are catered for, and bean-to-cup coffee and hot chocolate are served.
Outside, the beer garden provides a pleasant space to enjoy drinks and dining, benefiting from late-evening sunshine.
Accommodation includes three comfortable en-suite rooms, comprising one King Room and two Family Rooms, making the Castle Inn a great base for couples, families and small groups visiting Pembrokeshire.
