Arden House, Kingussie

Arden House is in Kingussie in the heart of Cairngorm National Park. Set in its own garden grounds with a large private car park, the house is a lovely example of a Highland Victorian Villa. It retains many period features and has been sympathetically refurbished and creates a peaceful and tranquil setting where guests can relax in comfort. Janet and Graham, who own and run Arden House, offer guests a warm welcome, comfortable stay and a hearty Highland breakfast.

Kingussie and the Cairngorms have much to offer. There's walking, cycling, pony trekking and skiing in the winter months, as well as a local golf course. The area is also popular with wildlife watchers and those who want to tour Scotland to find out more about places of historic interest .

There are five en-suite bedrooms including a ground floor family room with one double bed and two singles, one of which is located in a smaller room adjacent to the main bedroom and offers that extra bit of privacy. This room is also ideal if you have restricted mobility, located as it is on the ground floor and next to the dining room. Please note, however, the shower is not level access but if you do have restricted mobility and would like find out if this room would be suitable for you, please call or email us. There is also a spacious king-size room, a double room, a double room with a single bed that can accommodate three people and a twin room. All our rooms are spacious and comfortable and decorated to a high standard with Freeview TVs, Wi-Fi, hairdriers, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and fluffy white towels. Guests are welcome to come and go during the day.

A full Highland Breakfast is offered and guests can choose from a selection of fresh fruit, yogurts, porridge and cereals. We offer specials from time to time and we will endeavor to cater for dietary requirements with advance notice. Breakfast is served between 8.00am -9.30am.
