Overview

Dating back to the 17th century, enjoying an idyllic setting in this seaside village, just a stone's throw from the beach, on the Jurassic Coast. The village road runs steeply down to the very edge of the rocky shore. There are intriguing alleyways waving between tightly-packed cottages and houses. Its unique location and close proximity to the beach make it an ideal get-away for any occasion.

Indulge in a mouth-watering evening meal, freshly prepared just for you. Our menu echoes the coast and countryside on our doorstep. Head Chef & Proprietor Michael Coates and Sous Chef Thomas Locker work tirelessly in our kitchen, to make the most of seasonal, quality ingredients from our local suppliers. Our tasty dishes are effortlessly matched with fine wines, great beers and spirits.

Your room is complete with luxury toiletries, super soft bath sheets and a tray of treats & refreshments.

Whether you’re looking for a restful short break in the heart of the old village, or the perfect dining experience, we look forward to welcoming you at the Bramblewick Fish & Grill.

A pretty fishing village with sandy beaches, Robin Hood’s Bay is around 6 miles south of Whitby, with attractions including the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and Pannett Park. The village lies on the eastern edge of the North York Moors National Park, around 15 minutes’ drive from Sleights in the beautiful Esk Valley. The village also marks the finishing point for the Coast to Coast route.

Please note there is no parking available at the bottom of Robin Hood's Bay, there are two car parks at the top of the village, which are free during the winter months. Cars can drive down to the Bramblewick to unload. Please bear in mind the road is narrow and winding. There is limited turning space at the bottom near the dock.
