Overview

Bulmer Tye House is an informal old fashioned B&B in a rambling house full of character with an interesting garden. There are two single rooms (adjoining) and two double rooms, with sitting rooms available to guests. Breakfast is served in the kitchen and consists of home-made muesli, cereals, home-made bread and marmalade, as well as local free-range boiled eggs (no fry-ups). Plenty of good walks in surrounding countryside and a grass tennis court for use in summer. Dogs are permitted (if they are well behaved and kind to cats!). Peter Owen designs and makes furniture and keyboard instruments (keyboard players can request a clavichord in the room during their stay), while Noël Riley is a specialist writer on furniture and decorative arts. Bookings should be made by telephone/fax. 2 nights minimum stay.
