Overview

Our pub, The Coach and Horses, is located in the historical Surrey town of Chertsey, within a stones throw of the remains of Chertsey Abbey. We are a traditional family run pub with cosy nooks and two real fires.

We pride ourselves in offering a personal and friendly service, and you're guaranteed to be welcomed by a smiling face. As well as offering a comfy and quaint place to stay, you can also immerse yourself with the locals and enjoy our fine Fullers, award winning, Ales.

Each of our rooms have a small en-suite with shower, sink and toilet. We have 2 single and 1 twin room. Access to our rooms is via and outside staircase, so you can come and go as you please. Please be aware the staircase may not be suitable for anyone who has trouble climbing stairs. There is a car park at the rear of the pub.

Chertsey is a great spot for visiting a number of Surrey's attractions. Thorpe Park is a 10 minute walk away and Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland are within half an hour drive. The historic town of Windsor, home to her majesty our Queen is about a 20 minute drive. On the way to Windsor, why not stop off at the site of the signing of the Magna Carta. The River Thames is 15 minute walk away, where you can stroll along the banks to Staines or Shepperton. If you are feeling sporty Chertsey has a Sailing Club, a Wake Boarding Park and many fishing lakes. A 10 minute drive will take you to Walton, where you can hire a paddle board and take in the sites of the River Thames.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the centre of Chertsey, a 5 minute stroll away, with plenty of amenities in our local high street.

If it's a simple, friendly place you're looking to stay, then look no further.
