Overview

We have several rooms available for Bed and Breakfast with delightful views over the gardens; and a self-catering Cottage.

The rooms are comfortable, spacious and full of character all have washbasins and one has a private bathroom. The others have use of a shared bathroom with shower.
Generous full English breakfasts are served using food that is sourced (where possible) locally, organically and fairly traded.

Pianists are welcome to make use of the baby grand piano in the drawing room; snooker and table tennis tables are available in the Outhouses and during the summer badminton can be played outside.
The gardens are stocked with unusual bulbs, shrubs and trees and the garden is beautiful in each of the different seasons. There are well planted borders and spacious lawns, and an established area of vegetables and fruit trees,as well as a wilder area.

Many birds and insects are attracted by the diversity of plants and trees and the sense of peace is tangible.
There are many places to walk or cycle. One of our favourites is to cycle down to the ferry that takes you across the River Yare to the Archers - a family friendly inn. A 10 mile round trip for a delightful afternoon.

We are just 12 miles from the historic city of Norwich with its Cathedral, Castle, market and medieval churches.
Loddon (3 miles) has excellent eating venues and Beccles (6 miles) a delightful market town has boats for hire. Dunwich about 40 mins away has the best Fish and Chips for miles. Originally a thriving medieval harbour, it has now lost much of the town to the sea and the museum is full of it's colourful history. It also has plenty of birdlife.
Southwold is a very popular venue to about 35mins..

Other attractions in the area are Pleasurewood Hills theme park; Africa Alive; Beccles outdoor Lido (summer opening only); Bungay golf club and adjacent to that canoe hire.
