The Fox and Hounds Hotel is situated within Dartmoor National Park and is a very popular destination for walkers and day trippers to the moor. The moor is accesed directly via a trackway behind the Hotel.
Our location, set on the edge of Dartmoor looking west, allows some spectacular evenings watching the sun set towards Bodmin moor and Cornwall from the cosy comfort of the bars. There are two bars, a restaurant, games room with pool and darts, beer garden and children’s play area outside. Notably we have a skittle alley which doubles as a function room. It has its own bar and is available for booking for parties.
Please Note: Last check-in on a Sunday is 5pm and the bar closes at 7pm on a Sunday.
