Aperçu

Set in the heart of Royal Deeside, Glendavan House stands in its own extensive grounds - seven acres of natural pine woodland overlooking Loch Davan - within the newly created Cairngorms National Park. The grounds are home to varied Highland wildlife including regularly sighted red squirrels and roe deer. The loch is a protected bird sanctuary - in the autumn, thousands of greylag geese settle on their journey south, sharing territory with whooper swans, mallard ducks, moorhens and a family of otters.

Glendavan House is open all year and offers 3 individually styled suites. Furnished to the highest standards, each suite combines bespoke and antique furniture, Victorian features and luxurious fabrics with state of the art, modern facilities. Accommodation at Glendavan has been tailored to offer every guest a little bit of luxury in a relaxed and informal manner.

Histoire

Glendavan House was built as a shooting lodge in 1886 and stands in its own extensive grounds.

Restauration et Boissons

A Scottish Breakfast should be the highlight of any visit to this area. Glendavan is delighted to offer a menu for breakfast using local produce from the best suppliers. A hearty full cooked breakfast served in the dining room is included. Alternatively, you could opt for a tray of fresh coffee, croissants, home-made bread and pastries served to your suite at a time to suit.

Deeside is home to some of Scotland's finest restaurants and recommendations can be offered together with the making reservations. Help is also available to organise transport to and from.

Plus d'informations

Each suite and room has digital television and DVD player, CD Player, radio and Wi-fi Internet access. Guests are invited to make themselves at home and to make full use of the reception room with satellite TV, books, magazines, CDs and DVDs.

A pantry is also available for guests to prepare tea and coffee. Tea and coffee-making facilities can, of course, be provided in the rooms on request.
