Holsworthy is part of 'Ruby Country' and a gateway to the many beautiful places you can visit in Devon.
Ruby Country is the name given to 45 parishes around Holsworthy and the name Ruby relates to the fine breed of cattle that is reared here and is a reminder of the importance of farming to the area. Exmoor, Dartmoor and Bodmin moor surround this ancient Market Town, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book 1086. It is also very close to the seaside resort of Bude, which is well known for it's beaches and surfing. There is also a local Market in The Square every Wednesday with local crafts and local produce.
We at the Kings Arms, offer good home cooked food Monday - Saturday from Midday to 8.30pm. We provide cooked or continental breakfasts as well as packed lunches if you are away early for the day.
Laundry service can also be available upon request.
We are a public house in The Square of Holsworthy. A Waitrose and a M&S is nearby, as well as all our local shops including crafts. We also have a Chemist, Post Office, Banks and a local convenience store.
Holsworthy is in the heart of a beautiful rural farming area. If transport is a problem we can also arrange for a taxi to and from your location whether that will be for business or a day at the beach!
