Histoire

The Georgian country house was originally built in 1710 as a hunting lodge for the Duke of Gordon. The grounds of Dunain Park were laid out by the Victorians.

Five of the individual luxury bedrooms are located in the original part of the building which includes both our traditional honeymoon suites with a contemporary twist.
A larger extension was later built in 2007, where you will find all six of the opulent junior suites, which include two plasma televisions, large bathrooms and stunning views over the grounds.

The beautifully appointed dining room opens out onto an elegant terrace, amking alfresco dining, a must in fine weather.

Our young team of chefs use only the best fresh, local, seasonal ingredients including items grown in our own gardens to create delicious dishes with neat twists on traditional favourites. Their exquisite new menu will excite and delight food lovers and can best be described as modern Scottish cuisine with a contemporary twist.

The striking georgian building is surounded by six acres of beautiful gardens and is located just 2 miles outside Inverness city centre..

Two walled gardens display some wonderful native trees and banks of Rhododendrons that create a natural habitat for many birds and wild life including Roe deer, Hares, Rabbits and hedge hogs that can be seen in the nearby fields

Our main drawing room is just the place to enjoy a relaxing morning coffee, afternoon tea or pre-dinner drink by the log fire. In our smaller lounge, you can curl up with a good book and a drink from our extensive list to keep you company.

Take advantage of our elegant terrace to soak up the atmosphere of the beautiful surroundings of Inverness, which is a must in fine weather.
