Maple Bank is a magnificent Edwardian residance enjoying uninterrupted views across the Derwent Valley towards Skiddaw and Latrigg. Nestled between Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite and just two miles from Keswick, it is ideally placed for walking, climbing, mountain-biking, orienteering, water sports, fishing and bird watching or simply a base for exploring the Lake District.

All our rooms have en-suite bathrooms, each with its own shower, sink, toilet, heated towel rail and shaving plug. And each guest has use of a hand towel and bath sheet, along with complimentary bathroom smellies.
Each bedroom room has a flat screen TV - with DVD player - with generous cupboard space for hanging and storage, a chest of drawers, bedside tables and bedside lights, and a comfy chair. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in every room, along with a hairdryer, fan and heater. Ironing facilities on request. There is ample private off-road parking for all our guests behind the house, as well as secure cycle storage and access to a hose for you to clean your bike off. Our acre of beautiful gardens are fenced-in garden for our four-legged visitors to run around in, along with spare towels to dry off any damp paws. Drying facilities are available.
In addition, all the rooms have cosy throws for you to snuggle into, with plenty of cushions and pillows to prop yourself up with on your bed whilst reading, watching TV or catching up after you day out.
A full Cumberland breakfast is included in our prices, with lighter options of fresh fruit salad, porridge, a range of cereals also available. All served in our elegant dining-room.
