Merifield is owned by Wadham College. This complex is located in leafy Summertown, some 1.2 miles north of the city centre with a regular bus service into the centre of Oxford as well as being an easy cycle ride. Summertown boasts a range of supermarkets, restaurants and pubs, as well as a sports facility which is located next door to the Merifield complex.
The accommodation at Merifield consists of four and five-bedroom apartments with open plan living, dining and kitchen areas. Each apartment has central heating and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle and toaster. The oven/hob is not available for use during the vacation periods but there are a number of local restaurants within walking distance to suit all budgets.
Ground floor apartments have terrace doors opening onto gardens; first-floor apartments have balcony doors, with some overlooking the gardens. Four-bedroom flats have two toilets and one shower; five-bedroom flats have two toilets and two showers. Each bedroom has built-in wardrobe space, a single bed, desk, chairs, bookshelves and connection to the Internet.
