You will always get a warm and friendly welcome at Puddle Duck Lodge, our picturesque cottage. Built from traditional Lakeland stone in 1864 on the quiet Biskey Howe Road it is the ideal base for whatever type of break you choose.
Choose from three attractive, Individually designed rooms. Including a beautiful suite, a romantic four poster and a single, all overlooking our cottage garden.
We have seating areas in the pretty garden, free iFi, and free parking in our own private adjoining car park.
Some of our rooms are dog friendly, please enquire with us direct before booking to avoid disappointment, you may be surprised at how many shops, pubs and eateries are dog friendly too! We only accept small dogs and charge £20 for the first night and just £5 for subsequent nights. Please note we do not allow dogs to be left alone.
A complimentary hamper will be delivered to your room where there is a breakfast table to start the day in private and relaxed comfort. You choose from an extensive continental style menu which includes, fruits, yogurts, pancakes, baked goods, toast, cheese, cereals, boiled eggs etc.
There is a vast array of activities in the area, including: The Royalty, our local traditional cinema only a 2-minute walk away, the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, 5 minutes, the new Jetty Museum, 10 minutes, The Old Laundry Theatre 7 minutes, gorgeous views from Biskey Howe View 7 minutes and just 10 minutes to the piers and lake cruises.
We aim to greet you personally on arrival, but if we are not available you may self check-in; full instructions will be emailed.
For flexible and room-only rates, payment is due on arrival, although 7 days before arrival your card will be validated for the full amount, but no money will be charged. Non-refundable reservations may be charged in full at any time.
