Bridport, Beaminster, Lyme Regis and the surrounding areas have some fantastic award winning restaurants including Dorshi, Ollerod, Brassica, Soulshine, Lilac, River Cottage HQ and many more.
Symondsbury Estate is five minutes drive out of Bridport and there you can go walking, mountain biking, shopping or dining at their cafe and restaurant. Whilst there you shouldn't miss the opportunity to walk up the iconic Colmers Hill and survey the stunning scenery from the Marshwood Vale to the sea.
There are countless National Trust sites you can visit within half an hour of the property. These include Golden Cap, Eggardon Hill, Hardy Monument, Hardy's Cottage and Lambert's Castle.
There is a Hair Salon and an Ale and Wine bar in the buildings beneath the Flat. Both come highly recommended if you are in need of a trim or more likely an evening refreshment after a day in the sea air.
